Week Schedule

Palm/PassionSunday (March 24) -- We will join the crowd who welcomed Jesus into Jerusalem with palm branches and shouts of praise. We will also prepare ourselves for the days ahead, in which the crowd will greet Jesus with words of ridicule and demand his death.

Maundy Thursday

(March 28) -- We will gather for a simplified Seder dinner (a celebration of Passover).  Please join us in the Fellowship Hall at 7:00pm, as we remember the meal at which Jesus instituted the Lord's Supper.

Good Friday Prayer Vigil (March 29) -- For the 12-hour period between 7:00am and 7:00pm on Good Friday, we will be holding a prayer vigil in the chapel.  Resources for meditation and prayer will be provided.  A sign-up sheet will be posted in the Narthex.

Good Friday Service (March 29) -- We will gather in the Fellowship Hall Church at 7:00pm to walk the “Stations of the Cross.”  This is an observance that helps us walk with Jesus from Gethsemane to Calvary

Easter Sunday (March 31) -- Easter morning at First Christian will begin at 9:00am, when all our Sunday School classes (and anyone else who would like to join us!) will meet for breakfast in the Fellowship Hall.  Please bring your favorite breakfast dish to share.  Our morning worship service, celebrating the power and joy of the resurrection, will begin at 10:00am.  Join us!
